We go back and look at the events, analysis, thoughts and predictions in the aftermath of 9/11. Questions about the nature of Islam, declaring war on a non-nation state, the future of American exceptionalism, protection of the homeland, anger and forgiveness, and much more. Today’s guests include Scott Hahn, Mrs. Anwar Sadat, Geoffrey Wawro, and Jimmy Akin. It’s our presentation of “The Clash of Civilizations: Interviews from the days following Sept. 11, 2001.”

  1. Well, I'm really confused. Al, help me out here. So I have so far, listened to all 2 hours of the Sept 9 shows. You listen to Mrs. Sadat and she says its a religion of peace. You listen to Scott Hahn who says the minute you call Alla, Abba (Father) you become an infidel to an Islam. I have also downloaded and listened to almost every show you have had on about Islam and the general consenses is that this is NOT a religion of peace. So does Mrs. Sadat not know her own theology? There haven't been philosophers on the Islamic front in hundreds of years. There is no advancement of thought, no challenge and analysis inside Islam. So, is this a religion of peace as Mrs. Sadat claims or is this a religion that is of war, as it appears the Koran says and many of the hours of shows you have had say, including Dr. Hahn ??????
